From Constitutional Theory to Living Research
The Operational Research Programme represents the second major phase of the IDHUS Institute’s scientific development. While the constitutional publications established the theoretical foundations of Institutional Cognition and Planetary Cognitive Civilisation, this programme defines how that knowledge becomes an organised, continuously evolving research ecosystem.
Its purpose is therefore not to produce another theoretical synthesis, but to organise the next generation of scientific work that will progressively transform constitutional knowledge into computational models, empirical research, scientific publications, educational programmes and institutional innovation.
A Research Operating System
The Operational Research Programme defines the complete architecture of the IDHUS Working Papers Programme and explains how research is organised across the Institute.
It establishes the principles governing the generation of research questions, the development of Working Papers, the relationship between conceptual research and computational implementation, the integration of validation and simulation, the interaction between scientific publications and educational programmes, and the continuous evolution of institutional knowledge through recursive learning.
Rather than treating research as a sequence of isolated publications, the programme conceives scientific investigation as a living cognitive process in which every study contributes to a continuously expanding ecosystem of knowledge.

The Ten Research Series
The long-term scientific agenda of the IDHUS Institute is organised through ten interconnected Research Series. Each Series represents a permanent programme of inquiry dedicated to a specific dimension of Institutional Cognition and Planetary Cognitive Civilisation. Together they provide the organisational architecture through which future Working Papers, computational models, scientific publications, educational initiatives and institutional collaborations will be developed over the coming decades.
Series A — Foundations of Institutional Cognition
Series A preserves the constitutional foundations of the entire research ecosystem. Rather than constructing new constitutional theories, it continuously refines, clarifies and strengthens the conceptual architecture established throughout The IDHUS Method, the Research Validation Papers and the Research Atlas. It provides the common scientific language that allows every other Research Series to remain conceptually coherent while supporting the long-term evolution of Institutional Cognition.
