David González- Founder & Director

David González is the Founder and Director of the IDHUS Institute and leads the organisation’s educational, research, and advisory activities in the field of artificial intelligence for public governance. With a background in Telecommunications Engineering, Smart Cities, and Business Administration, David has worked internationally across Europe and Asia on projects related to digital transformation, emerging technologies, urban innovation, and public sector modernization. His work focuses on the strategic implications of artificial intelligence for governments, public institutions, and cities, including AI governance, digital transformation, smart cities, data-driven decision-making, and the future of public administration. As Director of the Institute, he oversees the development of educational programmes, research initiatives, publications, and advisory projects aimed at helping public sector organizations navigate the opportunities and challenges of the AI era.

Camelia Cosma – Operations & Project Management

Camelia is responsible for the operational management and coordination of the Institute’s educational programmes, research activities, and institutional projects. Her professional experience spans project management, international cooperation, public sector engagement, and organizational coordination, including work with NGOs, international organizations, and multidisciplinary teams. At IDHUS, she ensures the effective delivery of training programmes, research initiatives, conferences, workshops, and advisory engagements, helping transform strategic objectives into successful operational outcomes. Her expertise in stakeholder coordination and programme management plays a key role in supporting the Institute’s mission of building AI capabilities within public institutions.

Petra Nylund- Strategy & Innovation

Petra leads research and strategic analysis activities related to artificial intelligence, innovation ecosystems, technology adoption, and public sector transformation. A researcher at the University of Stuttgart with a PhD in Management from IESE and an MSc in Engineering and Business Management from KTH Stockholm, Petra brings extensive experience in innovation strategy, technology management, and international business development. Her research focuses on the societal and institutional implications of emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, digital ecosystems, technological transitions, and AI standardization. At IDHUS, she contributes to the development of research publications, policy analyses, executive education programmes, and strategic frameworks that support evidence-based AI adoption in government and public administration.

Alejandro González- Communications & Digital Outreach Director

Alejandro leads the Institute’s communications, digital engagement, and educational content dissemination activities. Specialized in visual communication, digital marketing, and content strategy, he is responsible for ensuring that IDHUS publications, research outputs, educational materials, and institutional communications are presented in a clear, accessible, and professional manner. His work supports the Institute’s mission of making complex topics related to artificial intelligence, public governance, and digital transformation understandable and accessible to policymakers, public sector professionals, and institutional leaders.

Yolanda González -Research & Knowledge Management

Yolanda is responsible for research support, documentation, information analysis, and knowledge management across the Institute’s activities. Holding a degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Barcelona, she specializes in information gathering, source verification, literature review, and the organization of knowledge resources. Her work provides the research foundation for IDHUS publications, policy papers, educational programmes, and advisory projects, ensuring that all activities are supported by reliable, high-quality, and evidence-based information.

Jaume Nicolás- Technology & Digital Infrastructure

Jaume Nicolás oversees the Institute’s digital infrastructure, technology systems, and technical platforms. His responsibilities include managing the technological environment that supports online education, digital collaboration, research activities, and institutional operations. He also contributes technical expertise to projects related to artificial intelligence technologies, digital transformation, data systems, and emerging digital tools relevant to public sector modernization. Through his work, he helps ensure that the Institute remains technologically capable of supporting advanced education, research, and advisory services in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.
